With many students questioning their next steps after A/L examinations, Colombo Academy of Hospitality Management (CAHM) successfully hosted a live webinar titled “What’s Next After A/L?” on 8th December 2025, providing much-needed guidance and clarity for prospective students and parents.
Held from 7.00 PM to 8.30 PM via Zoom, the session focused on helping students explore future education and career pathways within the hospitality and related industries. The session was led by two distinguished resource persons: Mr. Steven Bradie-Miles (Education Compliance & WAI Resident Representative) and Mr. Madushan Jayathilake (Assistant Director – Hospitality & Event Management / Travel & Tourism / Lecturer). Participants benefited from valuable insights shared by these industry and education experts, who addressed key concerns surrounding post-A/L options, global qualifications, and career progression. The session also shed light on CAHM’s academic offerings, practical learning approach, and pathways to international exposure.
The interactive nature of the webinar allowed attendees to ask questions, gain clarity, and make informed decisions about their future. For many students, the session served as an important first step toward understanding how passion, skills, and globally recognised qualifications can align to create successful careers.
