Gayani Jayatillake is a dynamic and results-oriented finance leader with over 18 years of diverse experience spanning the Education, Leisure, BPO, and Manufacturing sectors. She began her career in the manufacturing industry and advanced through key finance roles in a leading BPO firm and the McLarens Group’s leisure division, gaining extensive expertise in financial and management accounting, as well as stakeholder engagement. In 2013, Gayani joined Colombo Academy of Hospitality Management (Pvt) Ltd, where she played a pivotal role in establishing the organization’s finance function from the ground up. Her commitment and exceptional performance earned her multiple promotions, culminating in her current position as Deputy Centre Director – Finance & Operations.
In this capacity, Gayani provides strategic leadership across Finance, Procurement, HR, and Operations, driving operational excellence and contributing significantly to the organization’s long-term success. She is a Chartered Management Accountant, qualified through the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) – UK, Gayani is recognized for her ability to empower teams, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and align operational initiatives with strategic objectives.
