Ms. Damithri Wijekoon began her professional journey in the tourism industry at Aitken Spence Travels, gaining experience in international tour operations and client engagement. She later transitioned into academia, joining CAHM as a Lecturer in Tourism and Hospitality, and subsequently advanced to Coordinator – Travel & Tourism. Currently serving as Manager – Industry Engagement & International Relations and Senior Lecturer, she focuses on building industry partnerships, strengthening international collaborations, and enhancing student employability.
She holds a Master of Education from Lincoln University College, Malaysia, and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) Degree in Tourism and French Language from the University of Kelaniya. She also holds a Professional Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), UK.
With academic and professional qualifications spanning tourism, education, and international relations, she remains committed to supporting CAHM’s mission of producing globally competent graduates.
