Mr. Thilan Wijesinghe is a Director of the Colombo Academy of Hospitality Management and a co-founder Director of the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT). He is a distinguished entrepreneur and corporate leader, recognized for pioneering Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) in Sri Lanka across ports, energy, IT parks, housing, and hospitals. He served as the youngest and longest-standing Chairman of the Board of Investment (BOI) and was the first Chairman of the National Agency for Public Private Partnership (NAPPP), driving net FDI to an all-time high of 2.8% of GDP in 1997.
Mr. Thilan is Chairman and Managing Director of TWC Holdings, an investment banking, real estate, and advisory group he founded, advising governments in Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Maldives, Laos, and Cambodia. He has co-founded landmark ventures including Ceylon Tea Trails, Sapphirus Lanka, and Wow.lk, and sits on the boards of several leading companies in Sri Lanka, India, and Maldives. He holds degrees in Industrial Engineering, Economics, and Business from the State University of New York and Cornell University, USA.
