Mr. Sampath is a Cookery Diploma holder with advanced training in Sugar and Chocolate Sculpture from the USA, bringing 39 years of international pastry experience. His career spans the Middle East, Caribbean, Bahamas, and Pacific, including work with Sandals and Superclubs, Lyford Cay Club in the Bahamas, and the ultra-luxury Laucala Island Resort, Fiji, owned by Mr. Mark Mateschitz. He later served as Executive Pastry Chef at Shangri-La Fiji Resort and Spa, acting as Executive Chef for 10 months while maintaining strong P&L performance and top TripAdvisor ratings. After returning to Sri Lanka, he lectured at Prima Ceylon Limited before joining CAHM.
