Mr. Nivran Weerakoon is the Executive Director of the Colombo Academy of Hospitality Management (CAHM), contributing to its strategic growth and positioning it as Sri Lanka’s leading hospitality education institute. A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA, UK) and MBA graduate from the University of West London, he brings extensive leadership experience across Sri Lanka and the UAE.
He serves as Managing Director of Media Monkey (Pvt) Ltd., Uptima Travel and Tourism LLC, and Metaphase Global FZC LLC, Director/CEO of Global Conversions FZ-LLC, and Group Director of the Acorn Group Sri Lanka. He is also a Board Director of Royal Ceramics Lanka PLC, Delmege Limited, and several other private companies.
In the public sector, he served as Vice Chairman of Lanka Electricity Company (LECO) and is a Council Member of the Sustainable Development Council of Sri Lanka. He leads transformative agri-tech initiatives through Aahayani Agri, bridging Sri Lankan enterprises with Middle Eastern opportunities.
