Mr. Nilantha obtained his hotel and catering management qualifications from Ceylon Hotel School and began his career in Republic of Maldives. He stepped in to Sri Lankan hotel trade by joining Tangerine group and moved to UAE in renowned Dutco Hotels for a Junior Management position. On return, joined as a Head of F & B department and reached up to the level of General Manager at Club Palm Garden. He held General Manager positions at Citrus, Avenra Group, Oak Ray hotels and Best Western Elyon hotel Management. During his hotel career he has led his teams to achieve many accolades including Presidential Award for best resort hotel twice Currently he is an Assistant Director and Head of the Commercial Cookery Department. An M B A from Preston University,U S A, and certified hospitality educator from American Hotel and Motel association. A member of the John White alumni.
