Entry Requirements

Hospitality

Certificate III in Hospitality
  • A minimum of Sri Lankan O Levels with 5 passes including English.
  • Completion of a Pre-Training Review (PTR), including meeting satisfactory English proficiency standards determined by the Institute’s Language, Literacy and Numeracy Assessment (LLN) test and demonstration of basic computer skills to ensure your ability to complete assessments and communicate electronically.
  • Demonstration of good character, supported by a relevant character reference or industry referee if required.
Diploma and Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management
  • Students must successfully complete the Certificate III qualification and additional Language, Literacy and Numeracy assessment before acceptance into the Diploma or Advanced Diploma qualification.

Commercial Cookery

Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
  • A minimum of Sri Lankan O Levels with 5 passes including English.
  • Completion of a Pre-Training Review (PTR), including meeting satisfactory English proficiency standards determined by the Institute’s Language, Literacy and Numeracy Assessment (LLN) test and demonstration of basic computer skills to ensure your ability to complete assessments and communicate electronically.
  • Demonstration of good character, supported by a relevant character reference or industry referee if required.
Certificate IV in Kitchen Management
  • Students must successfully complete the Certificate III qualification before being accepted into Certificate IV qualification.
Diploma and Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management
  • Students must successfully complete the Certificate IV qualification and additional Language, Literacy and Numeracy assessment before acceptance into the Diploma or Advanced Diploma qualification.

Patisserie

Certificate III in Patisserie
  • A minimum of Sri Lankan O Levels with 5 passes including English.
  • Completion of a Pre-Training Review (PTR), including meeting satisfactory English proficiency standards determined by the Institute’s Language, Literacy and Numeracy Assessment (LLN) test and demonstration of basic computer skills to ensure your ability to complete assessments and communicate electronically.

Diploma of Travel and Tourism Management
  • A minimum of Sri Lankan O Levels with 5 passes, including English with at least 2 Credits.
  • Completion of a Pre-Training Review (PTR), including meeting satisfactory English proficiency standards determined by the Institute’s Language, Literacy and Numeracy Assessment (LLN) test and demonstration of basic computer skills to ensure your ability to complete assessments and communicate electronically.
  • Demonstration of good character, supported by a relevant character reference or industry referee if required.
Advanced Diploma Of Travel and Tourism Management
  • Students must successfully complete the Diploma Of Travel and Tourism Management qualification and additional Language, Literacy and Numeracy assessment before acceptance into the Advanced Diploma qualification.

Events

Diploma of Event Management
  • A minimum of Sri Lankan O Levels with 5 passes, including English with at least 2 Credits.
  • Completion of a Pre-Training Review (PTR), including meeting satisfactory English proficiency standards determined by the Institute’s Language, Literacy and Numeracy Assessment (LLN) test and demonstration of basic computer skills to ensure your ability to complete assessments and communicate electronically.
  • Demonstration of good character, supported by a relevant character reference or industry referee if required.

Special Notes

  • arrowhead-right-circle CAHM Tuition and WAI Teaching and Curriculum Fees must be paid in full before the Course Commencement date.
  • arrowhead-right-circle The CAHM Administration Department will send the payment deadlines and details via WhatsApp and email.
  • arrowhead-right-circle Any new local government taxes will be applicable.
  • arrowhead-right-circle WAI Teaching and Curriculum Fee = Equivalent LKR amount provided by CAHM based on applicable conversion rate and bank charges on the date of payment.
  • arrowhead-right-circle Tuition fees are reviewed annually and are subject to change. Any increase will be communicated before invoicing.
