The Colombo Academy of Hospitality Management (CAHM) was proud to be part of the ConnectED– Australian High Commission’s Thought Leadership Series, held at the Australian High Commissioner’s Residence in Colombo.
Themed “Beyond Arrivals: Can Tourism and Hospitality Power Sri Lanka’s Next Growth Phase?”, the discussion brought together leading voices from the tourism, hospitality, travel, events and education sectors to explore how Sri Lanka can move beyond visitor numbers and create greater economic and social value through tourism.
Adding a practical dimension to the evening, CAHM students played an active role in the cocktail reception.
👨‍🍳 Students from Commercial Cookery and Patisserie prepared a selection of culinary creations for the event, while students from Hospitality Management delivered professional guest service throughout the evening.
These opportunities allow our students to put their knowledge into practice, develop confidence in professional environments and gain valuable exposure to the standards and expectations of the hospitality industry.
At CAHM, we believe that industry-ready education goes beyond the classroom. It is about creating opportunities for students to learn, experience, connect and contribute.
✨ Because the future of tourism is built by the people who bring every experience to life.
