Bocuse d’Or 2023
The William Angliss Institute at SLIIT is prepared to assist with Culinary Tourism in Sri Lanka. We at the William Angliss Institute at SLIIT Bocuse d’Or Sri Lanka (National) Competition 2023 for Asia Pacific Finals hosted the Cook Offs for the second time on July 23rd, 2023, and it was a huge success.
As you are aware, Paul Bocuse is a culinary icon. He is widely regarded, and his food has set new standards. Since 1987, the Bocuse d’Or competition has provided talented cooks with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to showcase their talents, serving as a fantastic springboard for their careers. Its international significance has steadily expanded from one tournament to the next. Aside from the competition, the Bocuse d’Or has its own family: A global network of chefs, future celebrities, existing chefs, and partner companies who all share the same values of creativity, rigor, and innovation.
Our Institute includes four custom-designed kitchens, two for commercial cooking and two for patisserie. Over 700 students are studying Advance Diploma in Hospitality Management, Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery, and Certificate IV in Patisserie, with outstanding lecturers from Australia and Sri Lanka.
